1 pound large shrimp, peeled and de-veined
tablespoons unsalted butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)
1 package spice & ez chili lime blend
1 tablespoon lemon juice
Salt and black pepper to taste
Lemon wedges, for garnish
Fresh parsley leaves, for garnish
Pat the shrimp dry with paper towels and season them with a pinch of salt and black pepper.
Cooking the Shrimp:
In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium-high heat.
Add the spice & ez chili lime blend ,minced garlic and red pepper flakes to the skillet. Sauté for about 1 minute until the garlic becomes fragrant, but be careful not to let it brown.
Add the seasoned shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side or until they turn pink and opaque.
Stir in the lemon juice and fresh parsley during the last minute of cooking.
Transfer the cooked shrimp to a plate and keep them warm.
In the same skillet, add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter and let it melt.
Pour the melted butter over the cooked shrimp.
Serving Your Shrimp with Garlic and Butter:
Garnish with lemon wedges and fresh parsley leaves.
